Unfortunately we do not support that right now. Custom domains are supported for published sites only, so preview and staging use Ploy’s generated URLs.

There isn’t a supported way to point a custom domain at preview or staging today. I can pass this request along as product feedback.

Yes, you can do it when it's on your account. It will be the same DNS on their account.

For transferring the workspace, it can be done with a support request to <mailto:[redacted email]|[redacted email]> and we will be able to proceed with the change requested.

Let me add that to our feature request list. I’ll keep you updated on this. I agree, it can also help avoid issues if we click too quickly while doing something else.

Have you also tried the auto-publish feature? It can save time with your staging.
