I know there are a lot of marketers building on Ploy, but I wanted to share some recruiter love! I've been running a Ploybook regularly as a part of my candidate outbound to create a custom landing page for each candidate sharing why they're a great fit for the role, and hyping up the company and opportunity. At a high level, my Ploybook:

  1. Researches the candidate to pull in relevant work experience and side projects that align with the job profile
  2. Outlines the job and why its a fit
  3. Highlights the company and why it's an amazing place to work (my work focuses on early-stage companies with limited info online, so this piece is really important! 🙂)

We've seen an amazing lift in conversion from email outreach --> interviews booked.

I don't want to reveal the identities of the people I've been outbounding, so I won't link to the pages I'm building, but I'm happy to share our Ploybook! Let me know and I can add it in the thread here or dm it to you.

this is amaaaazing! do you have any theories as to why a tailored website converts better than a tailored email — or even a slide deck? we actually use ploy to create slides internally too

@Christina I think it’s because people don’t want to feel like they’re part of a mass email blast. The personalization shows that we’re reaching out specifically because of X skills, which hopefully makes them feel wanted to take a call 🙂
