How does Ploy compare with Webflow for local SEO?
A pet grooming business wants to understand service-based integrations and local SEO capabilities before prioritizing AI automation.
Hello, throwing this question out there - since Ploy's early customer base is focused on tech, marketing, etc how mature are it's features for handling local SEO, and service based integrations compared to Webflow? I'll probably stick out like a soar thumb here, but as a co-founder of a pet grooming company that's focused on customer experience on our website I don't want to get caught up on loosing service business functionality just to gain AI automation features (which are awesome and leaves my competition behind)

Hey there,
Appreciate your question and engagement on here. First off, you definitely don't stick out like a sore thumb!
While much of Ploy's early customer base has been tech and marketing focused, we do already work with several service-based businesses today. So this isn't an unfamiliar use case for us.
On the SEO side, Ploy supports the fundamentals you'd expect from a modern website platform, including metadata, structured content, URL management, redirects, and the ability to create and scale service or location-specific landing pages. There's also a lot of potential to use AI to make local content creation and personalization much more scalable.
Where I'd draw a distinction is around the broader service-business ecosystem. Things like booking and scheduling, payments, customer management, and industry-specific integrations are important considerations, and I wouldn't want to overstate where we are today relative to Webflow.
Ultimately, the goal isn't to trade existing functionality for AI features. It's to give businesses a better way to build, manage, and grow their web presence, with AI making that process significantly more powerful.
Service-based businesses are absolutely part of the customer base we're building for, and we see some really interesting opportunities in this space.
